My name is Sambo Chay and I am from Bavel, Battambang. In 1979, I escaped from Cambodia by Route 5 and reached Sisophon. I then escaped to the border of Thailand by the age of 11 years old. I rode a truck from Cambodia border and entered Thailand in Khao I Dang camped and stayed there for 2 years. After that I was moved from Khao I Dang camped to Meirut camped. I am now living in Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA. I just moved there about 2 months ago when I was moved from Decatur, Georgia, USA. I have three kids and I am 44 years old. One of my kid, my oldest kid, is in Phnom Penh, Cambodia with my ex-wife Chanran Im. My daughter name is Melissa Boranny Im of which the last name is not like my last name.
